Mirror (September 15) was the first to report that director Kunal Kohli will turn actor with Phir Se, a film set in London, which he will also helm. Now we have learnt that the Hum Tum director has found his leading lady.
Jennifer Winget, known for popular TV shows like Dil Mill Gayye and Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka and more recently Saraswatichandra, will be seen opposite Kunal in the film, a romantic drama expected to go on floors this November.

A photo-shoot was recently done at Bandra's Mehboob Studio to finalise the look of the duo.
Revealed a source close to the production, "Jennifer plays an independent, headstrong girl who moves from Amritsar to London to start her life from scratch after an ugly divorce. In London, she meets Kunal's character, also a divorcee."
According to the source, the film deals with the complexities of a new romance and a second attempt at a happily ever after.
Kunal Kohli remained unavailable for comment.
