Shahid Kapoor happy with 'Haider' response

Everyone who has seen the film is applauding Vishal Bharadwaj's choice of casting Shahid Kapoor in the title role of 'Haider'. They not only feel that it is Shahid's best performance but also that no one else could have done as much justice to the role as Shahid has done.

His character is as layered as Shakespeare characters are and everyone from the industry and audiences who have seen the film felt strong connection and engagement with Shahid's character all throughout.
