NEW DELHI: Rahul Gandhi may speak in Lok Sabha on rising communal violence in the country, stoking the sparring between Congress and BJP over the issue.
There is intense speculation that the Congress vice-president may lead the party charge in the lower House on the debate on the sensitive issue.
The debate comes as a result of the protest Rahul led in Lok Sabha last week after the Congress demand for a discussion on rising communal incidents in the country was disallowed by the Speaker.
Later, Rahul said communal violence was artificially engineered to pit brother against brother and to distract them from real issues like poverty.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi retaliated to the charge by accusing Congress of playing vote bank politics.
