With the government-party partnership experiment having worked well, it is going to be replicated in all the government's programmes meant for the domestic masses.
A team of four ministers and four senior BJP leaders has been set up to ensure that the government schemes meant to impact the lives of people reach right down to the block level through the efforts of workers across the states.
From the government end, the team members are Ananth Kumar, Nirmala Sitharaman, Piyush Goyal and Smriti Irani while the party leaders in the team are JP Nadda, MA Naqvi, Ramlal and Bhupendra Yadav.
For the Jan Dhan Yojna, the team members held over 100 meetings to educate party workers in states where the scheme was launched.
The party workers helped take the programmes to the doorsteps of the people and ensured that they were implemented properly.
"Many good government schemes do not reach the people as they don't get to know about it or even understand how to go about it to benefit from them. That is where the party workers can help the government in the implementation of the programmes," Naqvi said while explaining how the government-party partnership worked in case of the Jan Dhan Yojna.
"The government's target of reaching out to 1 crore people on Day 1 of the scheme infact touched 1.8 crore people. This was achieved with the help of the party machinery," he added.
The Modi government's efforts in implementing schemes with the help of the party workers is also aimed at BJP reaching out to more and more people.
