HYDERABAD: A woman employee of GMR, who works as a cleaner, was taken for a ride by a car driver when she boarded his car on Saturday. However, no untoward incident took place since the driver left the woman en route after she raised an alarm.
Assistant commissioner of police (Shamshabad) J Bhadreshwar said that the woman boarded the car, but the driver took her on some other route. "When she questioned him and raised an alarm, the driver left her at Tondapalli petrol bunk," a police said. A case was registered under section 354 (Assault or criminal force to woman with an intent to outrage her modesty) of the IPC.
