Nupor’s ‘Jab We Met’ moment

What was meant to be a romantic night-out turned into a disaster for actress Nupor — currently seen in Sudhir Sharma's Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuchh Kaha — and her husband Alenkar Srivastava.

Trouble started when Alenkar decided to surprise Nupor with a short trip. Recalls Nupor, "He drove me to Manori island. He had taken the details of a hotel there from one of my friends. At the hotel, the receptionist asked a bellboy to show us our room. On the way, the boy assured us that there will be no police raid as they have the required licence. That statement alerted me. On entering the room, we saw that the bed was too big. When we went back to the lobby, the receptionist showed us the rate card, which mentioned that rooms could also be hired on an hourly basis. That was it. I dragged Alenkar back home. I served him khichdi that night and warned him against surprising me in the future. It turned out to be like a scene straight out of the movie Jab We Met!"
