PM, Sonia to campaign in Mumbai

Mumbai: Congress president Sonia Gandhi will address six election meetings—three in Western Maharashtra and Marathwada on October 9, and others in Vidarbha on October 11. She will also address an election meeting here or in Navi Mumbai but the date is yet to be finalized. Rahul Gandhi will also campaign in the state.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address an election meeting at the Racecourse on Saturday evening. This will be his first public address in the city after taking over as prime minister. L K Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Amit Shah and Union ministers Rajnath Singh, Sushma Swaraj and M Venkaiah Naidu will also campaign in Maharashtra.
