'I never refer to my husband by name, it's always suniyeji'

Says Bhagyashree, who does not deny that Abhimanyu could be launched by Salman Khan

Why did you decide to return to acting with a TV soap?

The role in Laut Aao Trisha resembles my present state of mind. In the show my daughter goes missing. In real life too my daughter, Avantika, has flown off to London for further studies. I have two grown up kids and I don't mind playing my age in reel life.

After your debut film, Maine Pyar Kiya, you reportedly refused to work with any body other than your husband. True?

I'd said that I would only be comfortable doing intimate scenes with Himalayaji. This statement was misconstrued.

Himalayaji!

Yes. I never refer to my husband by name, it's always `suniyeji'. When talking about him to others it's `Himalayaji' and in front of friends it's `hubby', 'dear' or 'jaan'.

What if he has an extra-marital affair, just like your onscreen husband?

I would be really hurt. But I don't think that the affair would last. He will eventual ly come back to me.

Is Himalaya possessive? Buzz is, he'd flare up if Salman Khan held your hand while shooting Maine Pyar Kiya?

I think every man is possessive about his wife, especially if she is beautiful.

It's being said that Salman will launch your son Abhimanyu...

Abhimanyu is training himself to be an actor. I can't say anything about his debut. Jab bhi launch hoga, achcha hoga.

Will Avantika also join Bollywood?

I have no issues if she makes that decision. But she hasn't made up her mind yet.

But your family were vehemently opposed to your acting career, perhaps because they are royalty?

My grandparents were averse to my career. They told my parents, "Kya zaroorat hai usko actress banne ki?" But acting is not a taboo anymore.

What happened to your TV production house?

We have almost shut shop. We were doing well but Himalayaji then got into bigger ventures.
