"Tharoor has hurt the sentiments of the party workers and it should have been avoided. The KPCC will submit a report to the AICC leadership which will detail about the popular sentiments of the party workers in the state on this issue. This should not be repeated again," said V M Sudheeran, KPCC president after the meeting.
Even though there were reports earlier that the KPCC would serve a show cause notice to Tharoor for praising Swachh Bharath initiative of Narednra Modi, the party leaders decided to leave the matter to the AICC leadership since he is an AICC member and official spokesman of the party.
