'Bang Bang' amongst 10 highest-grossers of 2014

Be it for the never-seen-before stunts or scorching chemistry between lead actors Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif, Bang Bang is doing extremely well at the box-office. Cashing in on the hype and positive word-of-mouth publicity, the movie has made a whoppping Rs 50 crore in two days. A report in Koimoi.com says the movie has managed to earn approximately Rs 71.62 crore till now.

The report adds that Bang Bang has already made its place in the top 10 highest earning films of 2014 and is on its way to topple any and secure an even better position soon.

Bang Bang released on the same day as Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor-starrer Shakespearean adaptation Haider. Having released on a national holiday on October 2, both the films cashed in on the long weekend with Dusshera, weekend and Eid revelries adding to the numbers. Let's see if Bang Bang keeps the right pace at the box office and makes it to the Rs 100 crore club.
