Sound clip proves tenants weren’t threatened: DIG brother

MUMABI: Ravikant Paraskar, brother of rape accused DIG Sunil Paraskar, said on Friday that he possessed an audio recording of the conversation that took place between him and his tenants. A complaint of intimidation has been registered by the tenants against the Paraskar brothers.

Ravikant who owns a flat in Kandivli (W)'s Gokul society had rented it out to a TV reporter and his wife in May. But, relations between the two parties soured as the tenants were not happy with the condition of the flat. In their FIR, the reporter and his wife have alleged that they were summoned to Ravikant's house on September 2, where they were threatened.

"The transcript shows no threats were issued. In fact, my brother and I had gone to drop them downstairs after the meeting," said Ravikant.
