HYDERABAD: The task Force police busted a prostitution racket involving a Tollywood actress and arrested a pimp from a star hotel located on Road no. 2 Banjara Hills on Sunday. The 23-year-old actress came to prominence after she had won the national award couple of years ago.
Acting on a tip-off, the sleuths of West Zone conducted a decoy operation on Sunday night at the hotel in the upscale locality and caught the heroine as well as the pimp, Balu.
The actress had reportedly demanded Rs 1 lakh for one night from the decoy team member when they met her at the hotel. She was detained and later shifted to a rescue home.
A case was booked against the pimp Balu under the PITA Act and he has been produced before the court on Monday morning.
