Bigg Boss 6 Reality shows have had their share of garba and dandiya. Housemates of Bigg Boss 6 were seen donning beautiful traditional attire and doing garba during one of the episodes. Back then, Vrajesh Hirjee, Urvashi Dholakia and Aashka Goradia had taken the lead and involved other housemates, including Delnaaz Irani and Karishma Kotak, in the dance dhamaka.
Dill Mill Gayye The festival of dance and music proved to be a turning point in the series, as protagonists Dr Armaan (Karan Singh Grover) and Dr Riddhima (Shilpa Anand) forgot their differences and danced away to dandiya beats and peppy songs like Naino Mein Naina Daale Piya. Their sizzling on-screen chemistry reflected in the dandiya sequence as well.
Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? The love-hate relationship between the hot jodi of the small screen — Arnav Singh Raizada (Barun Sobti) and Khushi Kumari (Sanaya Irani) — transformed into sparkling romance when the two dolled up to celebrate nine nights of festivity. Their chemistry was evident when they grabbed dandiya sticks and swayed to a medley of garba songs.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah This show is based on a Gujarati family, and has a garba sequence in every second episode! Daya (Disha Vakhani), who is known for her quirky garba moves, has played dandiya with her husband Jethalal (Dilip Joshi) and a host of celebrities who have appeared on the show to promote their movies.
Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani Who said vampires cannot dance! The first show of its kind on a Hindi channel also had an eerie dandiya sequence, wherein the college students were all decked up for a dazzling dandiya night. The special Navratri sequence also brought in lots of twists and turns to the storyline.
PAVITRA RISHTA Love blossomed between Sunny (Karan Sharma) and Teju (Mrinalini Tyagi) as the two bonded over garba and danced away to glory. After winning a prize for the best dance, the duo shared some sweet, romantic moments. Talk about love happening over a couple of dandiya sticks!
