MUMBAI: Lodha Foundation launched a month long campaign in the form of a quiz contest across the Malabar Hill assembly constituency. The winners of the campaign, titled 'Shreshtha Bharat Pratiyogita', will be felicitated on Independence Day, 15 th.
The campaign received a fantastic response from the people in the Malabar Hill constituency, with over 26000 people joining the endeavour. Around 4200 school students also took part.
The contest continues and will reach out to about 50000 families across the constituency, aimed at various age groups including school children, women, senior citizens and the youth. The winners of the 'Kaun Banega Crorepati'-styled competition will receive cash prizes to the tune of Rs 12 lakh in rewards. Winners also stand a chance to win all expenses paid trips to places of national importance like Kargil, ISRO, and Jallianwala Baugh.
Mangal Prabhat Lodha, BJP MLA, Malabar Hill said, "Shreshtha Bharat Pratiyogita is a platform to reminisce and celebrate the rich heritage of India. Our nation is among the greatest in the world and is on its way to becoming an important superpower under the staunch leadership of our Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This campaign is being carried out with the vision of creating a sense of inclusion and pride among my constituents and to make them a part of this grand movement."
