Former chief minister and JD(S) leader HD Kumaraswamy reportedly met Hattrick Hero Shivarajkumar to discuss politics. But before you jump to conclusions, Shivarajkumar is not pursing a political career, but his wife, Geetha Shivarajkumar, may contest the Lok Sabha polls.
Geetha is the daughter of late politician S Bangarappa, who was from represented the Shimoga parliamentary constituency. According to reports, Geetha's brother and JD(S) youth wing leader Madhu Bangarappa wanted someone from the family to contest the polls from Shimoga, as it was his father's constituency. Kumaraswamy told a news channel last week that this was the reason why he went to meet Shivarajkumar, and the actor has said to have given his consent, that is if his wife is ready to get into the political fray.
Kumaraswamy added that a decision regarding Geetha's candidature will be taken by the party soon, after which an official announcement will be made.
