MUMBAI: Meera Sanyal, former chairperson of the Royal Bank of Scotland and Aam Aadmi Party candidate for Mumbai South, said on Saturday that her earlier tweets and blogs in praise of Gujarat hailed the common people of the state as well as individual initiatives and were in no way indicative of the quality of governance.
"My tweets and blogs were in no way political," she told TOI.
Sanyal said she was surprised that the twitterati chose to pick on her tweets and blogs on Gujarat alone.
