Civic body demolishes illegal extensions by Gajalee restaurant

MUMBAI: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) demolished illegal extensions made to the famous sea food joint, Gajalee, on Wednesday.

The hotel located in Andheri had carried out illegal extensions had constructed a shed in front and behind the hotel.

Civic sources say that the case was taken to the Supreme Court, where it ruled that the illegal extensions be demolished by the BMC.
