Night temperature drops in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: The city witnessed a pleasant chill on Friday as minimum temperatures plummeted to 15.1 degree celsius, making it one of the chilliest mornings this month.

Night temperature on Friday fell to 15.1 degree Celsius from Thursday's 17.9 degrees celsius. Weathermen said the minimum temperature is likely to hover around 16 degrees Celsius on Saturday as well. The temperature during the day also plummeted to a pleasant 28 degree Celsius, three degrees below normal.


Met officials said that wind pattern has changed as easterlies to north easterly winds are blowing over the Telangana region.


Officials further said that the minimum temperatures in some parts of Telangana are below normal by up to four degree celsius. Latest Met forecast suggests that dry weather conditions are likely to prevail over the state. "It is a local phenomenon," said a duty officer at Met office.
