HYDERABAD: Kukatpally police have registered a criminal case against a property owner for drawing water illegally from a Water Board supply line. The irregularity came to light when the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) staff were conducting field inspection.
Officials then lodged a complaint against Ch Sudhakar Reddy (House No:5-5-35/299/1, Sri Sai Baba Colony, Kukatpally), based on which cops registered a criminal case on Tuesday night.
"So far, six cases have been registered against persons who were having illegal water connections and three were arrested in the last two months," an official release issued by the HMWS&SB on Wednesday said.
