Delhi’s the corruption capital: Ajay Devgn

The cast of Satyagraha, along with Prakash Jha, was recently in the capital, and Jha talked extensively about the importance bringing the film to Delhi.

Jha said, "For a movie like this, which shows people coming out and participating in movements, Delhi is like Mecca. I, Manoj and Arjun - we're all Delhi boys; we have studied here in Delhi University and understand the political vibe of the city very well. There's so much happening here, the people are active and now they understand their power. Delhi is actually the capital for protests."

On being asked the same question, Ajay Devgn said, "It is also the capital of corruption." To this, he quickly added, "And it is because of all these problems that people have now come forward to take steps and join protests."

Arjun Rampal added, "All that time, we were all actively following the movements that were shaping up here. The way people came out on the streets was something that struck a chord with everyone, and in some ways, I believe, also influenced Prakashji during the film."
